Welcome
The Jordan Buildings and Grounds Department is responsible for the maintenance and custodial cleaning of all district buildings and surrounding grounds. This includes project management, preventive maintenance, special projects, etc. We work closely with community education department and the safety committee to ensure all areas in the district are safe, secure, and readily available for use as needed.
All of our Health and Safety management plans and information are on file at the District Office located at 500 Sunset Drive, Suite #1, Jordan, Minnesota.

Surplus Process
When an item owned by the District is deemed unusable or is no longer needed, a formal surplus process is followed:
- The item is brought to the attention of district administration and added to a list of items to surplus.
- The surplus list is presented to the school board for approval.
- Items that are still in usable condition are listed on auction sites. Items that are no longer usable or repairable or have been deemed unsafe for reuse are decommissioned.
