Superintendent's Message

Dear Jordan Public Schools Community, Families and Prospective Families,

Welcome to Jordan Public Schools!

Whether you are a returning family or considering joining our school community for the first time, I want to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome. Jordan is a place where students are known, supported, and celebrated — and where our commitment to their growth is at the center of everything we do.

Our mission remains unchanged: Inspire a Caring Community to Ignite Learning, Innovation, and Success for All. That purpose comes to life through our shared vision and core values of Jordan PRIDE — Preparedness, Respect, Integrity, Dependability, and Excellence. These values are not only part of what we teach; they guide how we lead, connect, and show up for one another every day.

This year, our district theme is “Grow Your Jordan Pride: Every Student. Every Story.” This powerful message reflects our continued dedication to academic growth, strong literacy foundations, and building a school culture where every student feels a deep sense of belonging. We believe every story matters — and that learning becomes more meaningful when students see themselves in their experiences and feel safe and supported in their schools.

I invite you to “Like Us” on Facebook, Follow us on Twitter, or Instagram. You can also download the Jordan Public Schools app for handy access to communications and links. We work hard to tell our story and it provides current and prospective families with a nice snapshot of the happenings at JPS. Should you have any questions about Jordan Public Schools, please do not hesitate to reach out and we can discuss how Jordan can benefit your child and family. Jordan is a special community and I'm proud to be the leader of Jordan Public Schools!

Thank you for being part of this journey with us. We’re excited for the year ahead — and we’re proud to walk alongside you as we celebrate every student and every story.

With Jordan PRIDE,

Ranae Case Evenson | Superintendent
